Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dylan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristian Van Buren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Buren has chosen Hang On by Illinois as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Dylan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tristian Van Buren!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dylan misses with a shot to the body
and Van Buren counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dylan lands with a nice body kick.
Dylan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Van Buren if he has to take too many more of those.
Dylan wants to land a leg kick but Van Buren is out of range.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Van Buren enables Dylan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Van Buren manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Van Buren looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Buren avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dylan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Dylan stands and steps away. Van Buren gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dylan connects with a solid leg kick.
Dylan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dylan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dylan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dylan shoots in and bounces Van Buren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dylan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Van Buren's head.

Dylan is in close to Van Buren's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dylan throwing strikes but missing.
Dylan stands and steps away. Van Buren gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Good leg kick by Dylan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dylan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Van Buren.
Dylan is looking to slow Van Buren down with leg kicks.
Dylan misses with a straight left.
Dylan moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dylan scores with a leg kick.

Dylan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Van Buren has time to react.

Dylan looks to score with a jab to the body but Van Buren is just out of range.
Dylan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Van Buren stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dylan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dylan lands strikes from half guard.
Dylan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Dylan drops an elbow to the side of Van Buren's head.
Dylan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dylan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Dylan misses with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dylan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nice strikes from Dylan there.
Dylan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Van Buren with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Dylan winds up and cracks Van Buren with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Dylan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Van Buren is rocked!
Dylan passes to side control.
Van Buren is still in real trouble! Can Dylan finish him?
Dylan lands a strong strike to the head of Van Buren. That's dazed him! Dylan looking to finish here. Van Buren is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Dylan lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Dylan!
