Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toomas Lepik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lepik tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Morrison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Toomas Lepik has been cut.
Lepik darts in trying to clinch
and Morrison counters with a nice uppercut.
Morrison feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lepik's calf.
Lepik has his takedown stuffed

and Morrison counters with a shoot takedown. Lepik fights it but they end up in guard.
Lepik trying to keep a closed guard but Morrison is proving a slippery customer.

Lepik working for a triangle but Morrison defends it easily.

Morrison decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Morrison shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lepik is trying to defend but Morrison finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lepik moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Morrison missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Morrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lepik not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Morrison trying to control but Lepik is working from the bottom.

Morrison decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lepik, up you get!
Morrison shoots for a takedown but Lepik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No joy there for Morrison, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morrison looks to land a combination but Lepik avoids it well.
Morrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Morrison looks gassed!
Lepik lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Lepik moves to clinch but Morrison breaks away

and Morrison counters with a single leg into guard. Lepik didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lepik is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morrison is aware though and is defending well.
Morrison wants to control from the top but Lepik keeps moving.
Lepik is trying to control the position but Morrison postures up.
Morrison must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Morrison won't allow Lepik to sweep him here.
Morrison is looking to stand up but Lepik won't let him.
Morrison scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lepik is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Morrison tries to kick Lepik off in order to stand up. Lepik Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Lepik scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Morrison to see if he's OK.

Lepik working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lepik trying to control the position but Morrison is working away.
Lepik tries to score with some ground and pound. Morrison controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lepik is looking to take a break and control but Morrison is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Morrison manages to get to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Morrison lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lepik!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Lepik tries to clinch
and Morrison counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Lepik darts in trying to clinch
and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lepik wants to clinch but Morrison slips to the side

so Morrison counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Morrison trying to control the position from guard on top but Lepik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Morrison wants to stand but Lepik has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Morrison drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Morrison as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lepik screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Morrison! Nice submission victory there!
