The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nepgen is defended easily by Thyme.
Nepgen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thyme defends it nicely.
Nepgen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Thyme counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cor Nepgen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nepgen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thyme tries to avoid it but Nepgen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thyme to the ground. Thyme escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nepgen shoots in looking for a takedown. Thyme tries to sprawl out of it but Nepgen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thyme manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Thyme throws a left that rocks Nepgen and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Thyme dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Nepgen regain composure!

It looks like Cor Nepgen has been cut.

Thyme has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Thyme connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Thyme lands the left hand.

Thyme throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Nepgen tumbling to the canvas!

Thyme decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Thyme drops Nepgen with a huge uppercut! Nepgen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Thyme is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
