The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dangerously closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sevenovic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Ivica Sevenovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sevenovic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dangerously is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Monique Dangerously wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Sevenovic uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dangerously has time to react.

Dangerously is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sevenovic is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Dangerously is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sevenovic rolls with it to try and escape but Dangerously cranks on the arm and Sevenovic is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
