The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coture misses with a takedown attempt
and Kame counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Coture doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kame connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Coture tries for a takedown but Kame circles away easily
enabling Kame to counter with a crisp jab.
Kuririn Kame has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Coture.

Coture gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kame to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Coture is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kame defends well.

Kame is looking for a sweep. Coture is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Coture thows a huge punch but Kame dodges it nicely.

Coture looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kame is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coture maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kame could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Coture has cracked it and Kame is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Coture!
