Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silver Back (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Wiltsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Back's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, One 24. Wiltsie has chosen Mein Herz Brennt as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Silver Back!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Wiltsie!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Back walks into a stiff left hand from Wiltsie.
Back jabs Wiltsie to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wiltsie falls off balance throwing a combination

and Back counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wiltsie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Back is controlling him.
Back content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Back wants to pass the guard but Wiltsie is keeping the position.
Back working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Back loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Back postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wiltsie keeping full guard, as Back tries to pass.
Wiltsie wants to sweep here but Back controlling him for the moment.

Back throws a strike but Wiltsie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Good leg kick by Wiltsie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Wiltsie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Back.

Wiltsie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Back at a distance.

and Wiltsie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wiltsie checks a leg kick.
Back tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wiltsie is able to avoid easily.
Silver Back seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round but I would say that Silver Back will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheers as Back lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wiltsie doesn't seem phased though.
Wiltsie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Back was well out of range. Poor timing from Wiltsie.
Back shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wiltsie but Wiltsie pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Back has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Back tries to buck Wiltsie off but Wiltsie is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Back managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Wiltsie.
Back manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wiltsie in particular looking to stall.
Wiltsie works his foot free and advances to mount.

Wiltsie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Back is now in Wiltsie's guard. A big mistake from Wiltsie there, giving up the dominant position!
Wiltsie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Back stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiltsie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Back with a flurry of punches that miss.
Back throwing strikes but missing.
Wiltsie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Back trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Back trying to control but Wiltsie is working from the bottom.
Wiltsie wants to stand and escape but Back is having none of it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Back accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Robert Wiltsie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wiltsie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
