Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Valentijn Overmin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overmin comes to the cage accompanied by Swedish house mafia: Miami 2 Ibiza. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Overmin.
Hari misses with a takedown

and Overmin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hari has momentary wrist control but Overmin slips an elbow through the middle.

Overmin drops back looking for a leg! Hari is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hari manages to kick Overmin off! Overmin jumps back into Hari's guard.
Overmin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Hari keeping moving, preventing Overmin from controlling successfully.
Hari wants to stand and escape but Overmin is having none of it.
Overmin wants to control from the top but Hari keeps moving.
Overmin cracks Hari with a solid left hand.
Hari not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hari can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hari can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Overmin controls the pace.

Overmin is in close to Hari's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Valentijn Overmin just wasn't active enough.

Hari is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Overmin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Overmin stands up over Hari, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Overmin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Overmin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Overmin is pushing down on Hari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hari is fighting to maintain full guard but Overmin has managed to sneak the leg through.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Overmin connects with a nice short shot to Hari's temple.
Overmin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hari is staying active underneath Overmin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Overmin is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hari is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
