The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Cupcake as Rodriguez shoots in.
Cupcake looks to clinch
and Rodriguez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Painis Cupcake has been cut.
Cupcake takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Rodriguez misses with a wild combination.
Cupcake throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cupcake dodges the punch combination from Rodriguez.
Sloppy strikes from Cupcake. Those never looked like landing.
Cupcake throws a hook to the side of Rodriguez's head but Rodriguez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rodriguez tries for a takedown but Cupcake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cupcake misses with the combination.
Rodriguez just misses with a punch to the body.
Rodriguez shoots in looking for a takedown but Cupcake manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rodriguez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Rodriguez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cupcake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cupcake looks to land a combination but Rodriguez avoids it well.
Painis Cupcake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown but Cupcake shows good takedown defense.
Rodriguez dives in and grabs Cupcake's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cupcake pushes down on Rodriguez's head and hops out.
Cupcake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cupcake displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is breathing heavily.
A nice combination there by Cupcake.
