Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pertti Hurskainen!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurskainen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ewing counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ewing cracks the inside of Hurskainen's front leg.
Ewing shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A punch combination from Ewing misses.
Pertti Hurskainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ewing rushes Hurskainen and presses him up against the ropes.
Hurskainen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Hurskainen working hard to break the clinch.

Ewing's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hurskainen misses with a two punch combination.
Ewing is looking to slow Hurskainen down with leg kicks.

A frustrated look appears on Hurskainen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hurskainen is pressed up against the ropes. Ewing has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hurskainen down to the mat. Hurskainen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ewing lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hurskainen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ewing takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Hurskainen is trying to force a seperation but Ewing has the dominant position.
Ewing is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ewing lands with a kick to the temple. Hurskainen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Hurskainen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Hurskainen is rocked!

Ewing escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hurskainen is still on wobbly legs! Can Ewing finish him?
Ewing is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hurskainen hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Raul Ewing!
