Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bembol Oblaks!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oblaks blocks a head kick by Bugasto.

Bugasto closes the distance and clinches.
Oblaks takes a knee to the side of the body.
Oblaks tries for a takedown. No joy.
Oblaks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bugasto is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bugasto lands a nice elbow.
Bugasto lands an elbow that stopped Oblaks in his tracks for a moment.
Oblaks drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chad Bugasto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bembol Oblaks.
Oblaks wants to get back to striking at distance but Bugasto won't allow it.
Bugasto lands an elbow just above Oblaks 's eye.


It looks like Bembol Oblaks has been cut.
Bugasto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Oblaks's efforts to push away.
Bugasto stops a takedown attempt from Oblaks.
Bugasto landing knees to the head.
Bugasto lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Oblaks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bugasto walks away with a smile on his face. Oblaks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bugasto misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Oblaks to counter with a crisp jab.
Bugasto avoids the head kick by Oblaks.
A clash of legs there as Bugasto blocks the low kick.
Bugasto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oblaks moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bugasto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oblaks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bugasto darts in and clinches Oblaks up against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bugasto.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Bugasto.
Bugasto comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Oblaks takes an elbow to the forehead.
Bugasto crunches a lovely knee into Oblaks's ribcage.
Bugasto slows down the pace here.
Bugasto putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Oblaks in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Come on Bugasto - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Oblaks looks gassed!
Bugasto lands an elbow just above Oblaks 's eye.

Oblaks drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bugasto gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Oblaks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bugasto prevents it.

Bugasto gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Oblaks.
Bugasto lands an elbow inside.
Bugasto landing knees to the head.
Bugasto slows down the pace here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bugasto.

Bugasto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bugasto wants to clinch.
Bugasto throws a body punch but Oblaks moves out of range.
Bugasto looks to throw a body kick
and Oblaks makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bugasto rushes Oblaks and presses him up against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bugasto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bugasto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Oblaks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bugasto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oblaks, pushing him back against the cage.

Bugasto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Oblaks drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Oblaks pushes down on Bugasto's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oblaks perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bugasto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oblaks on the ground.
Bugasto pushes Oblaks off looking to stand but Oblaks dives back in and keeps control.
Oblaks works his way into side control.

Oblaks is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bugasto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Oblaks gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bugasto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Oblaks lets go of the hold and Bugasto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bembol Oblaks!
