Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hollis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hollis's choice of entrance music: UGK - Pocket Full of Stones. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alpha misses with a left hand
and Alpha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Alpha thuds a left hand into Hollis's body.
Hollis misses with a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hollis looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alpha ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hollis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Alpha.
Alpha throws a lazy right hand but Hollis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hollis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alpha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A jab lands there for Alpha.
Hollis is looking to land body kicks.

Some bone on bone action there as Alpha checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Alpha counters with a nice body shot.
Hollis misses with the combination.

Hollis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alpha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Alpha throws an off balance right hand
and Hollis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hollis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Hollis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Alpha counters with a right hand to the body.
Hollis throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Nice shot by Alpha.
Alpha takes one to the chin there.
Alpha digs a good hook to Hollis's body.
Alpha takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hollis misses with an uppercut
and Alpha counters with a one-two to the body.
Alpha punishes Hollis's body with a nice straight punch.
Hollis tried to score with a low kick but Alpha checks it.

Hollis throws a front kick that sends Alpha stumbling back into the cage.
Hollis fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Alpha makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Alpha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hollis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hollis tries to clinch
and Alpha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Donk. Hollis catches Alpha right on the button with a cross.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hollis checks a leg kick.
Alpha uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hollis.
Alpha misses with a looping right.
Hollis throws a good cross that connects.
Alpha lands a leg kick that knocks Hollis off balance momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alpha with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hollis to score with a decent uppercut.
Hollis tries to move into range but Alpha moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hollis gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Alpha counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wiley Alpha dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hollis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Alpha takes a step back to recover.
Hollis swings for the body but Alpha moves out of range.

Hollis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alpha lands with an overhand left.
Alpha throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hollis throws a series of punches but Alpha avoids them all with ease.

Hollis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Hollis misses with an attempted mid kick.
A head kick from Hollis lands but Alpha takes it in his stride.
Hollis swings away with a body shot that misses
and Alpha counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hollis throws a leg kick that is checked
and Alpha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Alpha takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Alpha is rocked!
Alpha throws a lazy uppercut
and Hollis counters with a nice kick to the body.
Oh Alpha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Joe Hollis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hollis feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Alpha crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
