Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Florian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto comes to the cage accompanied by Chopin's Funeral March in B flat minor. Florian has chosen "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Florian looks to land a body kick but Hashimoto moved away.
Florian throws a sloppy head kick and Hashimoto moves out of range easily.
Florian lands with a slapping head kick.
Florian misses with a wild combination.
Hashimoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Florian tries to sprawl out of it but Hashimoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Florian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Florian digs a good body shot into Hashimoto's ribs.

Hashimoto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Florian pushes Hashimoto off looking to stand but Hashimoto dives back in and keeps control.
Florian has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hashimoto is working away from the top position though.

Florian is looking for a sweep. Hashimoto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hashimoto goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Florian turns into him and now he's in Hashimoto's guard.
Florian wants to get up but he can't break Hashimoto's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hashimoto controls Florian momentarily but Florian frees himself.
Florian is looking to stand up but Hashimoto won't let him.

Florian stands up from Hashimoto's guard - Florian perhaps looking for a knockout.
Florian throws a right hand that Hashimoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Hashimoto also avoids with ease.

Florian keeps the fight on the outside.
Hashimoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hashimoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Florian feints and then cracks Hashimoto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hashimoto down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Florian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Keiji Hashimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hashimoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Florian throws a front kick that sends Hashimoto stumbling back into the cage.

Hashimoto moves in looking to clinch but Florian pushes him off.
Hashimoto closes the distance and clinches up with Florian, looking for a takedown. Hashimoto pushes Florian against the cage but Florian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Florian explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Florian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hashimoto. That did some damage!
Florian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hashimoto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Florian to the mat! Florian manages to get full guard.
Florian wants to stand up but Hashimoto is controlling him.

Florian is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hashimoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Florian swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hashimoto trying to control but Florian is working from the bottom.

Florian had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hashimoto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Florian Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hashimoto's back instead.
Hashimoto just trying to survive but Florian is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
You can see the frustration on Hashimoto's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hashimoto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Florian is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Florian keeps control of the position as Hashimoto tries to break free.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Florian scores with strikes from the back.

Florian has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hashimoto has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Hashimoto is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Florian gets his way!

That's time! Hashimoto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Florian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Florian counters with a big head kick but Hashimoto shrugs it off.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Florian! Hashimoto is out on his feet! Florian rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hashimoto is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hashimoto is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
