PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronilson Tonelada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tonelada has chosen Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A head kick misses from Ali.

enabling Tonelada to counter with a crisp jab.

and Tonelada counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tonelada takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Ronilson Tonelada has been cut.
A combination from Tonelada does no damage.
Ali throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tonelada counters with a three punch combo that has Ali backing up. Ali nods at Tonelada to acknowledge the strikes.

and Tonelada counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tonelada tries for a takedown but Ali manages to get underhooks.

Tonelada is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ali can't fight it off and eventually Tonelada manages to take the fight to the floor. Ali looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ali is looking to improve his position.
Tonelada misses with a head shot. Ali uses the momentum to regain guard.

Ali sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tonelada's guard.

Ali seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tonelada is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
