Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santiago drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Manaloto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Santiago holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round but I would say that Domingo Santiago will probably get the nod.

Manaloto tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Santiago.

Santiago might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Manaloto is stalling here. Santiago is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Manaloto seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Santiago has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Domingo Santiago overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
