The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Master doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Eriksson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Master misses with a takedown attempt
and Eriksson counters with a straight right hand.
Eriksson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Eriksson swinging wildly here.

Eriksson has Master up against the cage in a clinch.
Master looking for a takedown.
Alexander Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoda Master.
Master is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Eriksson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Eriksson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Eriksson lands a shot to the body.

Eriksson tries to stall but Master uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Eriksson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Master is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Eriksson to the mat. Eriksson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Master won't allow Eriksson to get back to his feet.
Eriksson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Master manages to pass to side control.

Eriksson is trying to stand up here but Master is controlling him well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
