And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack misses with a straight right.
Sydney tries to clinch there but Jack circles away.
Sydney tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A swing and a miss from Jack.
Jack connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sydney's hands.
Jack throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sydney sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sydney throws a leg kick but Jack sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Jack throws the left hand but Sydney avoids the punch easily.
Jack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sydney swivels and escapes.
Jack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sydney was well out of range. Poor timing from Jack.
Jack fails to land with a series of punches.
Kangaroo Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sydney wants to clinch up but Jack keeps it at a distance.
Jack shoots in but no luck this time.
Jack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sydney.
Sydney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jack paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A big left from Jack misses.
Jack throws a hook but Sydney avoids it easily.
Jack misses with an uppercut.
Jack tries for a takedown but Sydney sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kangaroo Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jack ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sydney moves away.
Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Sydney takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
sydneyTwo Sydney is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jack misses the shot to the body.
Sydney defending well as Jack loads up on a big left hand.
Sydney slips a jab and a cross from Jack.
Sydney tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Jack counters with a right hand to the body.
Jack throws a big shot that misses.
Jack scores with a jab to the head.
Sydney moves in looking to clinch but Jack pushes him off.
Sydney tries to move into range but Jack moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A big left from Jack misses.
Sydney wants to land a leg kick but Jack is out of range.
Sydney tries to clinch but Jack is having none of it.
Sydney displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jack throws out the jab.
Jack takes a swing at Sydney's ribcage but misses.
Jack misses with an uppercut.
Jack shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sydney eats them both and turns towards Jack to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Jack moves out of range of the leg kick from Sydney.

Jack gets tackled into the cage by Sydney. Sydney maintains the clinch.
Jack avoids a wild elbow strike from Sydney.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sydney pushes off an throws an elbow but Jack leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Sydney lands an elbow just above Jack 's eye.
Jack dodges an elbow strike from Sydney.
Jack is trying to break free.
Jack wants a takedown but no success here.

Jack pulls Sydney into guard.
Jack throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Sydney trying to control the position from guard on top but Jack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jack tries to get out of the position.

Jack has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sydney should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jack has tightened it up now! Sydney should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
