Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Sailo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Sailo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Calvin Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sailo.
Sailo with a poor takedown
and Fisher counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fisher lands a big head kick that sends Sailo tumbling to the mat! Fisher takes a step backwards and waves Sailo back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Adam Sailo has been cut.

Fisher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sailo struggling a bit here.
Fisher trying to control the position but Sailo is working away.
Fisher lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Fisher happy to just control the position for now.

Fisher decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sailo to his feet.
Fisher throws a right and a left that Sailo avoids nicely.

Fisher shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sailo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

and Sailo counters by moving into the clinch.
Sailo is trying to maintain a safe position but Fisher gets an underhook and turns Sailo into the cage.
Fisher prevents the takedown attempt.
Sailo has Fisher pressed against the cage, preventing Fisher from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Sailo is looking to break free of the clinch but Fisher has double underhooks.

Fisher gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fisher is trying to control. Sailo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fisher works his foot free and advances to mount.
Sailo is breathing heavily.
Sailo tries to hold on but Fisher pushes him away.
Sailo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fisher controlling the pace for now.
Fisher avoids the attempt from Sailo to control.
Sailo regains half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sailo trying to hold on to Fisher's head to control him but Fisher postures up.
Sailo wants to get back to full guard.

Sailo wants to control but Fisher is keeping busy.

Fisher wants to work for an arm triangle but Sailo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fisher seems to be working for a kimura but Sailo defends the submission attempt.
Fisher content to control rather than advance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fisher stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sailo to get to his feet.
Fisher has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Sailo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sailo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fisher gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sailo regains guard.
Sailo is trying to keep Fisher in close.
Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Sailo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sailo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fisher controls the pace.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sailo wants to control the position but Fisher says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Fisher thows a huge punch but Sailo dodges it nicely.
Fisher is controlling the pace.
Sailo wants to improve his position but Fisher is controlling well.
Fisher is looking to advance position but Sailo won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fisher is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Calvin Fisher has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sailo is in trouble now - Fisher has advanced to mount!

Fisher working for a guillotine from mount but Sailo is in no mood to give up.

Sailo trying desperately to get to his feet.
Fisher tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sailo tries to lock up and control but Fisher gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sailo tries to control Fisher's body but Fisher pushes him off. Sailo squirms to his side and now Fisher has his back!

Calvin Fisher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

You can see the frustration on Sailo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sailo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fisher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sailo wants to sweep here but Fisher controlling him for the moment.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Fisher wants to stand and escape but instead Sailo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Sailo is not content to let Fisher control the position.
You can see the frustration on Sailo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Adam Sailo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Calvin Fisher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Sailo is not content to let Fisher control the position.

Calvin Fisher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
