The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Death stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Death wants it to stay on the feet.
Death closes the distance but Okami moves to the side

so Okami counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Death trying to keep a closed guard but Okami is proving a slippery customer.
Okami's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Okami shoots in for a takedown but Death shows good takedown defense.

Death closes the distance but Okami moves to the side

and Okami counters with a shoot takedown. Death fights it but they end up in guard.
Okami stays in close to Death's body and controls the position.

Okami is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
