Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Bob has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas shoots in and bounces Bob off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Thomas prevents Bob from getting back to his feet.
Thomas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Thomas postures up.
Thomas wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.

Thomas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bob is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thomas, into his guard.

Thomas wriggles free and stands up.

Thomas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bob manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bob avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bob manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bob looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Bob wants to finish this one by submission but Thomas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bob.
Thomas is wriggling around trying to escape.
Thomas's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Thomas is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Thomas's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bob really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Thomas is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Bob is pressed up against the cage. Thomas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bob down to the mat. Bob avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Thomas darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.

Bob breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Thomas leaves Bob with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Chris Thomas will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bob jumps guard and drags Thomas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Thomas throws and elbow that misses. Bob uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Thomas's guard. Nice move by Bob!

Billy Bob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Thomas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Bob shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Bob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Thomas is looking to work some ground and pound but Bob has wrist control.
Bob wants to stand but Thomas is controlling the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bob is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Thomas dives into side control.
Bob takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Thomas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bob tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thomas just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bob breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Thomas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bob looks a forlorn figure.

Chris Thomas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bob wants to control but Thomas is having none of it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thomas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Thomas has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bob's face.
Thomas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Thomas lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bob tries to lock up and control but Thomas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Chris Thomas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Thomas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
