Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran comes to the cage accompanied by Immortale Technique - Death March. Kevin Michaels is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels misses with a leg kick
and Duran counters with a nice uppercut.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Michaels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Duran has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Duran and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Michaels goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Duran has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Michaels but great work by Duran.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Michaels shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Duran sprawls well. Duran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Michaels gets slowly back to his feet.

Michaels can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duran is looking to escape.
Duran's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Michaels is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Duran can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Michaels goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Duran turns into him and now he's in Michaels's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duran is looking to stand up but Michaels won't let him.
Duran has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Michaels has his foot on Duran's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duran works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Michaels shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Duran clobbers Michaels with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mike Duran showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Duran has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
