And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis scores with a kick to the midsection.
Lewis lands with a nice body punch.
Lewis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Da Silva, pushing him back against the ropes.
Lewis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Lewis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Da Silva is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Lewis managing to block the knees to the body from Da Silva.
Da Silva is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lewis is defending well for now.
Da Silva misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lewis is looking to control Da Silva's arms but Da Silva gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lewis has his back to the ropes.
Da Silva is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lewis is keeping busy.
Lewis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Da Silva swings widly with a right hand
and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Da Silva tried to score with a low kick but Lewis checks it.
Lewis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lewis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Da Silva makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Lewis really felt that one!

Decent striking displayed by Lewis there.
Da Silva's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lewis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Da Silva scrambles back to his feet.
Da Silva is rocked!
Lewis connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Da Silva covering up! Lewis comes in with a big uppercut and Da Silva goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Leonard Lewis!
