Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gosha Zeleev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Lee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gosha Zeleev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee throws a body punch but Zeleev moves out of range.
Lee misses with a hook to the body
and Zeleev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zeleev misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zeleev slips a jab and a cross from Lee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zeleev was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.

Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zeleev.
Zeleev moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Lee leaves Zeleev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zeleev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Zeleev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Joe Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gosha Zeleev.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zeleev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lee.
Lee tries to bum rush Zeleev with a series of wild strikes but Zeleev uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lee thows a body shot but no joy.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Oooh a lovely combination from Lee sends Zeleev down but not out. Lee dives into side control looking to finish.

Zeleev is rocked!

It looks like Gosha Zeleev has been cut.

Lee tries to stand but Zeleev is controlling his head.
Zeleev tries to bench press Lee off him but Lee keeps the position.
Lee wants to stand but Zeleev has his arm trapped.
Zeleev tries to buck Lee off but Lee is having none of it.
Zeleev is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lee off and has taken his back!
Zeleev thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Zeleev is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lee defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zeleev on the ground.
