PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Foell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnatan Bruks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnatan Bruks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foell misses with a lunging right hand
and Bruks counters with a straight right hand.
Bruks misses with an uppercut. Foell saw that one coming.
Bruks tries to clinch
and Foell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bruks closes the distance and clinches up with Foell, looking for a takedown. Bruks pushes Foell against the cage but Foell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bruks.
Foell takes a swing at Bruks's ribcage but misses.

Bruks takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bruks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Foell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bruks was well out of range. Poor timing from Foell.

Foell feints a jab promting Bruks to slip. Foell then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bruks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bruks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Foell avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
