The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Meyer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
Meyer scores with a sloppy right hand. Rivera should have avoided that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Donk. Meyer catches Rivera right on the button with a cross.

Meyer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rivera sprawling to the canvas! Rivera rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Meyer finish him?!

Rivera is rocked!
Meyer fakes the body blow, causing Rivera to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rivera goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
