The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Purell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Navarro doesn't seem bothered though.
Navarro dives in and grabs Purell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Purell pushes down on Navarro's head and hops out.
A bone on bone clash there as Navarro blocks the leg kick.
Purell drops Navarro with a beautiful combination! Navarro stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Purell is looking for the KO!
Navarro is rocked!
It looks like Kirby Navarro has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Navarro drops his hands for a split second and Purell immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Navarro face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Purell follows up with a right hand that knocks Navarro into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
