Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Grendel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Headden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grendel comes into the arena with Rjd2 - Ghostwriter blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grendel lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Headden catches Grendel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Grendel explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Grendel throws a hook but Headden blocks it.

Grendel gets tackled into the cage by Headden. Headden maintains the clinch.
Headden swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Grendel tries to work over Headden's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Headden digs a right hand into Grendel's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Grendel's gas tank.
Headden crunches a lovely knee into Grendel's ribcage.
Grendel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Headden works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Headden goes for a takedown attempt but Grendel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Grendel throws a looping overhand right but Headden ducks down to avoid it.
Grendel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Steve Headden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Headden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Grendel defends it nicely.
Grendel smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Headden thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Grendel if he has to take too many more of those.

Grendel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Headden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grendel manages to avoid it.

Grendel lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Headden - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Grendel!
