The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Taylor swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fun counters with a two punch combo.
Shaun Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fun scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Taylor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fun counters with a nice uppercut.

and Fun counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Taylor thinking.

Fun shoots in and bounces Taylor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fun postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Fun passes Taylor's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fun seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tyler Fun hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

and Fun counters with a crisp one two that drops Taylor! Fun thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Taylor to his feet! Taylor is in big trouble!
Oh Taylor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fun is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Taylor rather than just go for the knockout.
Fun lands with a cross.
Fun cracks Taylor with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Taylor falls to his knees and Fun doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
