The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anelka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Warzywko as he jumps to the side.
Left hook, right uppercut from Warzywko .

It looks like Jacob Anelka has been cut.
Anelka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Warzywko defends it nicely.
Warzywko throws a series of punches but Anelka moves out of range.
Warzywko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Warzywko misses.
Anelka shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Warzywko as he avoids it easily.

Warzywko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Anelka is looking to advance position but Warzywko won't allow it.
Anelka is breathing heavily.
Anelka wants to stand up but Warzywko is controlling the position.
Warzywko is looking to escape.

Anelka is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Anelka is pressing down on Warzywko 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Warzywko is holding on for now.
Warzywko tries to kick Anelka off but Anelka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warzywko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Warzywko is not content to let Anelka control the position.
Warzywko pushes Anelka off looking to stand but Anelka dives back in and keeps control.
Warzywko is trying to escape back to his feet but Anelka uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Anelka advances to full mount.
Warzywko really wants to buck Anelka off and get back to his feet.
