Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ricard's choice of entrance music: Frank The Tank. Frank Ricard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Ricard!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricard throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ricard fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ricard rushes Anderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Ricard manages to get underhooks.
Anderson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anderson goes for a takedown attempt but Ricard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ricard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anderson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Ricard moves into range and clinches up with Anderson.
Ricard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ricard throws an overhand right that lands on Anderson's shoulder, as Anderson tries to avoid the shot.
Ricard lands a big shot that drops Anderson! Can he finish him?
It looks like Danny Anderson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ricard stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ricard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Anderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Ricard.
Anderson misses with a takedown
and Ricard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ricard tries to stand and escape but Anderson is controlling the position.
Ricard trying to control the action but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Anderson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ricard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ricard connects with a nice short shot to Anderson's temple.
Ricard thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ricard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Ricard is going to stand back up.
Ricard wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Anderson uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ricard in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ricard postures up in Anderson's guard and throws a big left but Anderson blocks it.
Ricard content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Anderson has locked up a guillotine! Anderson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ricard is holding on here and Anderson must be using up a lot of energy. Ricard has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Anderson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
