Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isak Dzaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bakir Broski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Isak Dzaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bakir Broski!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broski tries to clinch but Dzaki moves away
and Dzaki counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Broski has his takedown stuffed
letting Dzaki counter with a right hand.

Broski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Dzaki preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dzaki is looking to escape.
Broski is thwarting Dzaki's attempts to control the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Isak Dzaki wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Dzaki goes for an armbar but Broski turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Broski.

Dzaki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Broski defends it easily.

Dzaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Broski is one step ahead there.
Broski is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dzaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Broski counters with a single leg into guard. Dzaki didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dzaki is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Broski wants to pass the guard but Dzaki is keeping the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Broski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dzaki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Broski has Dzaki in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Broski controls Dzaki momentarily but Dzaki frees himself.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Broski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dzaki is one step ahead there.
Broski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Dzaki decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Broski gets caught flat footed, as Dzaki shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dzaki postures up.

Broski looking for subs off his back but Dzaki has passed one foot through into half guard.
Dzaki is trying to control the action in half guard but Broski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Broski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dzaki pulls his head out easily.
Dzaki is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Broski manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dzaki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dzakiis looking to pass into half guard but Broski pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Broski is in guard.
Broski chips away with some ground and pound.
Bakir Broski has got the better of the ground game so far.

Dzaki looking for a guillotine here but Broski defends easily.
Dzaki wants to get back to his feet but Broski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bakir Broski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Dzaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Broski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dzaki won't be happy with that.
Dzaki tries to bench press Broski off him but Broski keeps the position.

Broski decides to stand back up.

Dzaki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Dzaki wants to control from the top but Broski keeps moving.

We're going to have a standup here because Isak Dzaki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Broski closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Broski lands in his opponent's guard.
Broski trying to control but Dzaki is working from the bottom.
Dzaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Dzaki has his feet on Broski's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bakir Broski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Broski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
