Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Clapton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Kuklinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clapton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eric clapton - Layla. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Clapton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Kuklinski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Clapton finds it's target.
Clapton misses with a lunging right hand
and Kuklinski counters with a nice uppercut.
Clapton shoots and misses
and Clapton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Clapton just misses with a punch to the body.

Kuklinski clinches up with Clapton and pushes him back against the cage.

Kuklinski has clasped his hands together around Clapton's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Clapton is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kuklinski tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Clapton can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clapton is looking to reverse the position.
Clapton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Clapton tries to get to full guard but Kuklinski has control of the leg.

Clapton trying to control but Kuklinski postures up.

Kuklinski is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Clapton wants to get back to full guard.
Clapton wants to control but Kuklinski is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kuklinski is trying to control the action in half guard but Clapton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kuklinski is working for a kimura but Clapton is defending it quite comfortably.
Clapton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kuklinski.

Kuklinski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clapton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kuklinski.
Clapton is trying to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kuklinski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Clapton has managed to free his arm - good work.
Clapton wants to improve his position but Kuklinski is controlling well.

Kuklinski is looking for a kimura here.
Kuklinski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Clapton trying to hold on to Kuklinski's head to control him but Kuklinski postures up.

Clapton tries to roll over but Kuklinski keeps him under control.
Clapton is looking to control Kuklinski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clapton avoid being mounted?
Kuklinski is looking to pass Clapton's guard but actually Clapton recovers to full guard.

Kuklinski has gone for a leg lock! Clapton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kuklinski's guard.
Clapton won't allow Kuklinski to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Clapton is looking to work some ground and pound but Kuklinski has wrist control.
Clapton sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Kuklinski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clapton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clapton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kuklinski is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Clapton trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuklinski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kuklinski can't keep his opponent in guard - Clapton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Clapton thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kuklinski to regain full guard.
Clapton is looking to work some ground and pound but Kuklinski has wrist control.

Kuklinski keeping moving, preventing Clapton from controlling successfully.

Kuklinski looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Clapton is defending well. Kuklinski quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Clapton has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Kuklinski celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
