Pointek drops Machida with a left right combo! Pointek follows him down to the ground into side control.
Machida is rocked!
It looks like Santana Machida has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pointek lands a strong strike to the head of Machida. That's dazed him! Pointek looking to finish here. Machida is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Pointek lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
