The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sakuraba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dragon's half guard.

Sakuraba is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dragon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sakuraba.

Dragon is in trouble now - Sakuraba has advanced to mount!
Dragon tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dragon misses with a double jab.

Sakuraba shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sakuraba showed some decent athleticism there.

Sakuraba looking for a submission but Dragon manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Sakuraba stands and throws Dragon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
