The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch up
and Hagert counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hagert cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gracie wants to clinch but Hagert slips to the side
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hagert throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gracie's head.

It looks like Ronaldo Gracie has been cut.

Gracie tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hagert counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gracie is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Gracie moves to clinch but Hagert breaks away
and Hagert counters with a good low kick that Gracie was not able to check.

Hagert misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.

and Hagert counters with a body kick that stops Gracie in his tracks momentarily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gracie is breathing heavily.
A head kick from Hagert lands but Gracie takes it in his stride.
