Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shields comes into the arena with Swagga Like Us by T.I. blaring out of the sound system. Manny Acevedo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Shields moves into range and clinches up with Acevedo.

Shields is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Acevedo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Acevedo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Shields anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Acevedo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Shields slips an arm under Acevedo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Shields has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Shields is squeezing on Acevedo like an anaconda would it's prey. Acevedo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
