Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conde Sengir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pong has chosen Ping pong song as his entrance music. Ping Pong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Conde Sengir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ping Pong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sengir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sengir creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pong sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sengir scoring with punches and elbows.
Pong is trying to control Sengir's posture but Sengir avoids it.
Sengir throws a strike aimed at the side of Pong's head but Pong avoids it well.
An elbow from Sengir crashes against the mat.
Pong is trying to control Sengir's posture but Sengir avoids it.

Sengir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pong has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sengir working the ground and pound but Pong is defending the strikes.
Pong wants to control but Sengir postures up.
Pong sneaks back into half guard.
Sengir lands strikes from half guard.
Sengir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sengir passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pong!
Sengir looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pong tries to hold on but Sengir pushes him away.
Pong takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Pong wants to control but Sengir is having none of it.
Pong working to try and regain half guard.
Sengir with a couple of short strikes.
Pong flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Sengir has hold of Pong's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pong manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Sengir lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Sengir sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Pong wants to hold on but Sengir pushes him away.
Pong working to try and regain half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sengir throws some wild stikes that Pong manages to avoid easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sengir working for a guillotine from mount but Pong is in no mood to give up.
Sengir is breathing heavily.
Pong wants to hold on but Sengir pushes him away.
Pong is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sengir with shots to the head and body - Pong looks very uncomfortable down there.
Sengir has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pong's face.
Pong wants to control but Sengir is having none of it.
Sengir is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sengir with a couple of short strikes.
Pong can't escape the position.
Pong regains half guard.
Pong is trying to maintain the position but Sengir is very close to passing his half guard.
Sengir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pong avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sengir.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sengir seems to be working for a kimura but Pong defends the submission attempt.
Pong keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pong gets back to full guard.

Pong is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sengir rolls with it to try and escape but Pong cranks on the arm and Sengir is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ping Pong!
