Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pj Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed comes to the cage accompanied by Apollo Creed, Deck of Jack. Benn has chosen Darude- Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Apollo Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pj Benn!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed throws a shot from downtown. Benn moves away and avoids it.
Benn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Creed as he avoids it easily.
Benn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Creed did well to prevent Benn getting side control.
Benn is pressing down on Creed's thigh, looking to free his foot. Creed is holding on for now.
Benn is looking to take a break and control but Creed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Benn thows a huge punch but Creed dodges it nicely.
Benn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Creed defending well though.
Creed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benn on the ground.
Benn missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Benn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Creed knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Benn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Creed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Benn is working away from the top position though.
Benn wants to work for an arm triangle but Creed is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Creed wants to control but Benn is keeping busy.
Benn is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Creed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Benn.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Creed keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Benn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Creed keeps working.
Creed trying to control from the bottom.
Benn has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Creed defend it? Benn steps over the head and cranks it - Creed is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Benn!
