Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kay throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Kay gets the takedown into side control.
Kay working the ground and pound but Gambini is defending the strikes.

Kay working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gambini parries the strikes from Kay easily there. Kay is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gambini to escape.
Kay is working Gambini over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kay scores with punches from side control.

Kay is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gambini knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kay throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Kay throws an elbow but Gambini slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gambini tries to bench press Kay off him but Kay keeps the position.
Kay in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Kay creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gambini sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Gambini avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kay.

Kay swings around for an armbar but Gambini sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kay's guard.
Kay trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Kay has his foot on Gambini's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gambini works his way back into a safe position though.
Kay throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Gambini is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kay has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gambini is looking to defend but Kay has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gambini! Kay pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gambini taps out and this one is all over!
