The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Checka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Karaev, pushing him back against the cage.

Karaev breaks from the clinch.
Karaev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Checka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Karaev falls off balance throwing a combination
and Checka counters with a stiff right hand.
Karaev throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Checka counter with a right hand.
Karaev changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Karaev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Checka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Karaev lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Karaev takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Karaev throws a hook but Checka blocks it.
Karaev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Karaev thows a left - swing and a miss!
Checka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Karaev.
A shot to the body from Checka misses
and Karaev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Checka throws a right hand that Karaev ducks under and follows up with a left that Karaev also avoids with ease.
Danga de danga de dang - Checka scores with a four punch combination!

Karaev falls off balance throwing a combination
and Karaev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Checka catches Karaev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Karaev throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Checka counters with a straight right hand.
Checka lands with a shot to the body.
Karaev is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Checka.
Checka tries to clinch but Karaev moves out of range.
Checka cracks Karaev with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Karaev is rocked!
Checka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Karaev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Karaev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Karaev is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karaev misses with a double jab

and Checka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Checka unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Karaev! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Checka is unloading with more strikes now! Karaev drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
