The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gromowski connects with a body shot.

Anderson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Anderson blocks the elbow strike.
Gromowski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Frank Anderson has been cut.
Gromowski throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Anderson jumps guard but Gromowski stands there with Anderson around his waist. Anderson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gromowski lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Anderson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gromowski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Anderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gromowski can't fight it off and eventually Anderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Gromowski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Anderson stands up over Gromowski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Anderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gromowski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anderson has managed to get both his arms back between Gromowski's legs - danger averted.
Anderson is fighting to break Gromowski's control of his arms but Gromowski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gromowski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anderson defends well.
Anderson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Gromowski is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anderson connects with a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gromowski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anderson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Anderson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anderson connects with a nice short shot to Gromowski's temple.

Anderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Anderson lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Gromowski! More strikes land and this one is all over! Anderson jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
