The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett shoots in for a double leg but Daneele sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Daneele circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daneele misses with a combination

and Howlett counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daneele's guard now.
Daneele is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Howlett is controlling him.
Howlett wants to control from the top but Daneele keeps moving.
Howlett stands and throws Daneele's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Howlett has hold of Daneele's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Daneele seems comfortable defending it but Howlett has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Daneele is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Daneele is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Howlett couldn't care less - he's delighted!
