Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Turbando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomas Turbando will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Xavier gets tackled into the cage by Turbando. Turbando maintains the clinch.

Xavier turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Xavier manages to end up in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turbando moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Xavier has worked his arm free - good work by Xavier!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turbando looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Turbando jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Xavier is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Xavier and Turbando has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Turbando is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xavier is just riding it out for now. Turbando eventually gives up the hold.

A looping hook to the body misses from Xavier. Turbando does a little dance to reset his feet.
Xavier shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turbando looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Xavier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Turbando has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Xavier has managed to get both his arms back between Turbando's legs - danger averted.

Xavier is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Turbando is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Turbando has escaped and now he's on top!

Xavier turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Turbando off and cradles Xavier's limp body as Turbando celebrates with his corner.
