Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max McRiot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takanori dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McRiot's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, None. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Santos throws a poor cross that misses
and McRiot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
dos Santos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
dos Santos throws a lazy uppercut
and McRiot counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and McRiot counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McRiot dives in and grabs dos Santos's left leg, looking for a takedown. dos Santos pushes down on McRiot's head and hops out.

and McRiot counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in dos Santos's guard now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McRiot prevents dos Santos from getting back to his feet.
dos Santos can't keep his opponent in guard - McRiot advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McRiot is trying to control the action in half guard but dos Santos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
dos Santos keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

McRiot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so dos Santos is just riding it out for now. McRiot eventually gives up the hold.
dos Santos looks gassed!

McRiot is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! dos Santos is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
