The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogerio moves to clinch but Manoel breaks away
and Manoel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Manoel throws a jab when Rogerio was well out of range.
Manoel jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rogerio closes the distance and clinches up with Manoel, looking for a takedown. Rogerio pushes Manoel against the cage but Manoel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rogerio drops his hands momentarily and Manoel takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Manoel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rogerio throws a poor cross that misses
and Manoel counters with a left to the body.
Rogerio looks gassed!

Manoel scores with a sloppy right hand. Rogerio should have avoided that one.
Manoel swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rogerio.
Manoel connects with the punch.

Manoel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Manoel lands a big uppercut and Rogerio crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rogerio looks OK. Manoel waves Rogerio back to his feet!
Manoel pounces like a tiger and cracks Rogerio with a vicious hook! Rogerio is down but not out! Manoel follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
