The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots for a double leg takedown but Holkkimagnus sprawls well. He's pushed Gracie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie stands up from Holkkimagnus's guard - Gracie perhaps looking for a knockout.
Holkkimagnus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Holkkimagnus sprawls well.

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown. Holkkimagnus fights it but they end up in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Holkkimagnus tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Holkkimagnus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Holkkimagnus is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gracie rather than just go for the knockout.
Holkkimagnus scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Holkkimagnus throws a left that rocks Gracie and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Holkkimagnus dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Gracie regain composure!
GymBitch Gracie's cut is getting worse.
Holkkimagnus sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gracie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Holkkimagnus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gracie to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Holkkimagnus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Holkkimagnus closes the distance and lands a one-two.
GymBitch Gracie's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Holkkimagnus uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Holkkimagnus drops his shoulder and cracks Gracie with a huge uppercut! Gracie goes down! Can Holkkimagnus finish him?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
