Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cashier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Cheese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Johnny Cashier has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnny Cashier seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Cashier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Cheese!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheese's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Cheese duly obliges.

Oooh a lovely combination from Cheese sends Cashier down but not out. Cheese dives into side control looking to finish.


It looks like Johnny Cashier has been cut.
Cashier is breathing heavily.
Cashier defending against the ground and pound.

Cheese is trying to get an arm triangle but Cashier is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cheese is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cashier knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Cheese trying to control the position but Cashier is working away.

Cheese is trying to get an arm triangle but Cashier is defending well.

Cheese is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cashier's shoulder. That is not cool.
Cashier tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cheese wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Cheese tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cheese has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cheese is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cashier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cashier is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cheese is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cashier knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cheese working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

The referee asks Cheese politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cheese prefers to stall for the moment though.

Cheese is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Cheese throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cashier was covering up waiting for the punch and Cheese finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cashier wants to sweep but no luck.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Harold Cheese was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Cashier gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cheese to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cheese drops back looking for a leg! Cashier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cashier manages to kick Cheese off! Cheese jumps back into Cashier's guard.

Cheese is looking to work some ground and pound but Cashier has wrist control.
Cheese lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Cheese wants to control from the top but Cashier keeps moving.
Cheese works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Cheese is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Cashier has managed to free his arm - good work.

Cheese is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cashier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cheese.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Still in half guard, Cheese seems content to control.

Cashier misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Cheese is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Cheese closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cheese lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Harold Cheese comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cheese has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
