Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sven Kreigmacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Pajanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreigmacher comes to the cage accompanied by Seek and Destroy by Metallica. Sven Kreigmacher has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Kreigmacher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Pajanen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pajanen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pajanen is working for a kimura here but Kreigmacher manages to reverse the position and he's now in Pajanen's guard.

Pajanen is trying to control the position but Kreigmacher postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pajanen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pajanen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Pajanen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pajanen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pajanen is looking for a sweep. Kreigmacher is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Pajanen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kreigmacher has picked Pajanen up and slammed him! Pajanen can't keep hold of the triangle and Kreigmacher manages to pass to side control!
Pajanen is looking to regain half guard here but Kreigmacher keeps moving and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pajanen trying to control but Kreigmacher flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Kreigmacher is trying to stick to Pajanen's back but Pajanen is turning into Kreigmacher. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kreigmacher's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pajanen.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pajanen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kreigmacher has escaped the position, nice work there.

Pajanen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kreigmacher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pajanen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kreigmacher keeps working.
Pajanen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Pajanen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kreigmacher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pajanen throws an overhand right that lands on Kreigmacher's shoulder, as Kreigmacher tries to avoid the shot.
Pajanen blocks a head kick by Kreigmacher.
Kreigmacher pushes Pajanen away with a front kick.
Kreigmacher ducks under a wild hook from Pajanen.
Kreigmacher throws a leg kick
and Pajanen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pajanen thuds his right hand into Kreigmacher's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Pajanen scores with a jab. Kreigmacher acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kreigmacher avoids the body shot from Pajanen.
Pajanen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kreigmacher will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pajanen misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kreigmacher counters with a low kick, right behind Pajanen 's knee.

Kreigmacher fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pajanen has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Pajanen misses with a hook.
Pajanen tries to clinch up but Kreigmacher circles away and keeps his distance.
Kreigmacher pushes Pajanen away with a front kick.
Kreigmacher shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Pajanen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kreigmacher. Kreigmacher obviously looking to wear him down.
Pajanen shoots in for a double leg but Kreigmacher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That kick from Kreigmacher tenderised Pajanen's leg. Pajanen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pajanen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pajanen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kreigmacher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Pajanen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kreigmacher manages to avoid it.

Kreigmacher lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pajanen's sensitive parts.

Pajanen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kreigmacher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pajanen works to advance to full mount. Kreigmacher defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Pajanen is breathing heavily.

Pajanen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kreigmacher has worked his arm free - good work by Kreigmacher!

Pajanen slows the pace down.

Pajanen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pajanen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kreigmacher is looking for a sweep.
Pajanen in side control, throwing shots but Kreigmacher defends.
Kreigmacher is not content to let Pajanen control the position.
Kreigmacher regains half guard, as Pajanen was trying to land strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kreigmacher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pajanen.

Pajanen is trying to control. Kreigmacher wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Pajanen wants to work for an arm triangle but Kreigmacher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Pajanen working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Kreigmacher's thigh. Kreigmacher counters though and makes it back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sven Kreigmacher dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Good leg kick by Kreigmacher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kreigmacher throws a low kick but Pajanen moves out of range easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kreigmacher throws a leg kick which misses Pajanen's front leg but catches the back leg as Pajanen tries to avoid it.

Pajanen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Pajanen feints and as Kreigmacher raises his hands in defense, Pajanen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pajanen stands and throws Kreigmacher's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kreigmacher has one of Pajanen's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

I think Pajanen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
