Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacque St Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacque St Martin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacque St Martin!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Martin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in White's half guard.

St Martin stands up and beckons White to join him on the feet.
St Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
White plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

White throws a lazy head kick

and St Martin counters by moving into the clinch.
White using the Thai plumb to throw knees but St Martin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
White has St Martin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. St Martin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

White wanted to stand there but St Martin had control of the position.

St Martin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes White off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

St Martin is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. White knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften White for a finish.

St Martin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A close second round but Jacque St Martin will probably get the nod - 10:9.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

White clinches up with St Martin and pushes him back against the cage.
White is trying to drag St Martin to the mat but St Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
St Martin keeps control of White as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

White shoots in but St Martin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
St Martin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White moves to clinch but St Martin breaks away

White is trying to force a seperation but St Martin has the dominant position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
White is trying to break the clinch but St Martin is controlling him.

St Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White fails in his attempt to clinch.
White slaps away a takedown attempt from St Martin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Scott White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
St Martin tries to land a front kick but White steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
White misses with a two punch combination.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

St Martin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches White napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jacque St Martin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
