Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Batang Tondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Melanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Dos Melanos!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tondo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tondo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tondo won't allow Dos Melanos to sweep him here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tondo slips nicely into half guard.
Tondo is just content to waste time from the top position. Dos Melanos takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dos Melanos can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dos Melanos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tondo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dos Melanos throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Tondo postures up in Dos Melanos's guard and throws a big left but Dos Melanos blocks it.
Tondo wants to pass the guard but Dos Melanos is keeping the position.
Dos Melanos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tondo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dos Melanos.

Tondo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dos Melanos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tondo somewhat.

The referee is keeping an eye on Dos Melanos - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That was a close second round but I would say that Batang Tondo will probably get the nod.

Junior Dos Melanos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dos Melanos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
