Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Trick Daddy - Let's Go ft Twista & Lil Jon. Abel Stamp is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abel Stamp!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stamp dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Diaz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Stamp cracks a nice hook into Diaz's ribs.
Stamp tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Stamp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stamp takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Diaz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stamp might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Diaz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diaz, as that shot connected.

Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stamp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in Stamp's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Diaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
